Looks at environmental and liveability issues
The flagship Grey 2 Green programme is rolling out to six new locations in 2008-2009. The programme involves working with local residents to improve open and communal spaces in the neighbourhood. Three successful schemes were delivered in 2007-2008.
The Comeunity Programme is working with Great Yarmouth Borough Council and GYB Services to develop local recycling sites for residents in the neighbourhood. This will include the provision of glass recycling and other recyclables not currently included in the green wheeled bin collection.
The Comeunity Programme is attempting to work with a rang of partners to improve the StreetScene in South and Central Yarmouth, this includes working to ensure services are joined up in terms of education and enforcement.
