About Us

The Revolution Skate Squad was formed in late 2007 out of frustrations at the lack of affordable facilities for teenagers in the South Yarmouth area. A committee comprising of youngsters aged between 8 and 15 was formed and under the guidance of Holly Notcutt, then Community Development Worker for the Comeunity programme, and Raychel Marcus from Children's Social Services, a plan was mooted to remedy this situation. The results have been nothing short of dramatic.

After months of careful planning, fund raising and interviewing potential site builders the Revolution Skate Squad was pleased to announce the grand opening of its Skate Park on July 25th 2009.
